Christopher LaRock
Dr. Christopher LaRock is an Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, and Medicine, in the Division of Infectious Diseases, at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He runs a basic sciences lab affiliated with the Emory Antibiotic Resistance Center and the Center for Childhood Infections of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Their work is aimed at understanding the molecular basis of the host-pathogen interaction with a focus on Streptococcus pyogenes.
