Chandra M. Menendez
Dr. Chandra Menendez is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Dr. Madeleine Cunningham’s Laboratory. Her primary research focus is to understand autoimmune pathophysiology of neuropsychiatric disorders. Her neuroimmunology and infectious disease background provide a unique angle to investigate the relationship between neuroinflammation-mediated autoimmunity and cognitive and/or behavioral disorders. Her interests involve exploring how immune responses to Group A Streptococcal disease result in autoimmune sequelae.
